Job Summary

Join our team as a Senior Mainframe Application Programmer on a long-term W2 contract (12 months). This position requires an initial commitment of 5 days per week onsite (M-F). Flexibility for up to two (2) days of teleworking may be introduced after six (6) months contingent upon current project requirements.

Job Description:

The Senior Application Programmer for Mainframe Systems will possess knowledge and experience in applications software development principles and methods sufficient to participate in the design development testing and implementation of new or modified applications software.

Skills:

Strong background using IMS JCL CICS and SPUFI via COBOL and DB2.

Experience Required:

Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in systems design and programming.
Experience with IMS/DB2/COBOL/CICS programming in a mainframe environment.
Experience with Databases - DB2 IMS ADABAS FOCUS.
Experience with Tools & Utilities - MVS JCL MVS TSO/ISPF IBM OPTIM FILE Manager.

Education Required:

Bachelor s degree in IT-related or Computer Science field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
