Schedule: Day Shift 4x10 Hours (8:30 AM 6:30 PM)

We are seeking for an experienced Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality imaging in an outpatient setting. This role focuses on screening and diagnostic mammography interventional procedures and patient-centered care. First-time travelers with at least 2 years of experience are welcome. No weekends no on-call and no floating required.

Clinical Mammography Procedures

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms

• Conduct 3D mammography utilizing Hologic 3D systems

• Support interventional breast procedures including:
  Stereotactic biopsy
  Needle localizations
  Fine needle aspiration* (preferred)

• Assist with patient positioning safety protocols and comfort throughout procedures

• Ensure accurate labeling and documentation within Epic (required)

Equipment & Technology

• Operate Hologic 3D units

• Utilize Hologic Affirm BX system for biopsies

• Maintain clean safe and fully stocked exam rooms

Patient Care

• Provide compassionate patient-centered care

• Educate patients regarding imaging procedures and expectations

• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios per facility standards

Operational & Workflow Support

• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards

• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff

• Follow facility policies and quality assurance protocols

• 2 years of Mammography Tech experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• Must be comfortable working 4x10s

• No floating no weekends no call

• Ratios: 1:1

• 48-hour schedules not approved

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Mammography program

• Minimum 2 years recent Mammography experience

• Outpatient experience strongly preferred

• Travel experience not required

• State Radiologic Technologist License Required

• ARRT (R) Required

• ARRT (M) Required

• BLS (AHA) Required

• 3D mammography

• Digital mammography

• Diagnostic mammograms

• Screening mammograms

• Stereotactic biopsies

• Needle localizations

• Fine needle aspiration* (preferred)

Equipment

• Hologic 3D

• Hologic Affirm BX

Technical Skills

• Epic charting (required)

• Strong patient education and communication skills

• Excellent positioning imaging accuracy and quality control
