The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Aircraft Production Technician (Level D) to lead large scale restoration and removal processes with various external customers. This role will support Population South Carolinain Charleston South Carolina.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops new opportunities and solutions for problems with minimal oversight.
- Provides concurrent engineering support.
- Reviews and approves technical documents.
- Analyzes charging trends and develops projected manpower forecast.
- Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation.
- Leads projects and participates in technical research on proposed projects.
- Serves as primary interface with internal customers.
- Translates data into actionable plan for implementation within the organization.
- Compiles and provides management status reports for corrective/preventative action.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite and travel to support emergent operations.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Word.5 years of experience in 737 Airplane Program
- 5 years of experience in managing NOE projects both in factory and in the field with operators.
- 5 years of experience working the AC while protecting for Quality and maintaining FOD free area.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5 years of experience working with operations industrial liaison and design engineering.
- 5 years of experience in a team environment.
