As a Locum Anesthesiologist you will play a critical role in providing anesthesia services and support to various healthcare facilities. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety
- Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and consultations
- Provide post-anesthesia care and support
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia care
- Stay informed about advancements in anesthesiology techniques
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the facility
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current and valid medical license in the state of practice
- Completion of a residency in Anesthesiology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and safety
- Basic understanding of anesthesia equipment and technology
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-5p call shifts 5p-7a Monday-Friday & 24-hour call shifts on Saturday and Sunday
Census: Average 5 admissions 1 inpatient 1 ICU patient daily
Travel & paid travel expenses included
