We are hiring an Person in Charge for a Nursing Home in Co. Waterford.
Responsibilities
Carry out all statutory Person in Charge responsibilities in accordance with HIQA regulations and national standards.
Provide strong clinical leadership and support to staff encouraging a collaborative team culture.
Oversee the organisation administration and day-to-day operations of the nursing home.
Maintain high standards of professional person-centred care.
Ensure safeguarding policies are properly implemented monitored and followed.
Communicate effectively with residents families staff and external stakeholders.
Work flexibly including night and weekend shifts when required.
Requirements
Hold a third-level nursing qualification with active NMBI registration and PIN.
Have at least 6 years of post-registration nursing experience.
Possess a minimum of 3 years management experience and 3 years recent elder care experience within the past 6 years.
Hold a post-registration qualification in healthcare management or be willing to complete one.
Demonstrate strong leadership communication and organisational abilities.
Have a full clean Irish driving licence with access to your own transport.
