Team and Job Purpose
The Business Architecture and Business Analysis team is part of the TDIT function. Business Architecture focuses on creating a comprehensive framework that aligns our organizations strategic vision with its operational execution. It involves developing models and structures to ensure business strategies are effectively implemented identifying opportunities for improvement and designing future-state models that support organizational goals.
Business Analysis centers on identifying business needs and determining solutions to business problems. Business Analysts gather review and analyze data; liaise between stakeholders; and recommend changes to improve processes products and servicesultimately enabling effective decision-making and organizational change.
The team holds overall responsibility for defining and driving our Global Business Architecture and Analysis strategy including capability tooling resourcing capacity sharing and scaling across SCA while ensuring close alignment with stakeholders across the movement to realize the full value of our transformation and IT investments for children. The team consists of a Director Senior Managers Senior Specialists and Specialists.
This Specialist role reports to a Senior Specialist or Senior Manager Business Analysis with a dotted-line relationship to the corresponding Project Manager.
Role purpose
Within the Transformation Delivery Department our team of Business Analysts is assigned to projects based on organizational needs. These projects may or may not involve an IT component and the specific functions supported will vary by project.
Our Business Analysts are responsible for analyzing the relevant business areas or functions and documenting business requirements processes existing systems data integration needs and more. They support the development of the current and future state analysis bridging the gap between projects business functions and IT where applicable.
In addition to project delivery Business Analysts are expected to contribute to the development and enhancement of our BA methodology continuously improving our processes and tools.
To succeed in this role you will need proven experience as a Business Analyst working on complex transformation projects or programmes.
