JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Texas license required

Board: ABEM preferred; AOBEM ABFM ABIM with strong ED experience accepted; ABPS not accepted

DEA: Active DEA required

Certifications: EM BC requires proof of ATLS once; FM/IM trained requires ATLS ACLS PALS

Experience: Strong emergency medicine experience required

Other Qualifications: Epic proficiency preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume ED setting

Manage approximately 60 patient encounters per day

Coordinate transfers for all admissions to main Christus Mother Frances campus

Perform required emergency medicine procedures

Complete all onboarding orientation and Epic workflow processes
