JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Texas license required

Board: ABEM preferred; AOBEM ABFM ABIM with strong ED experience accepted; ABPS not accepted

DEA: Active DEA required

Certifications: EM BC requires proof of ATLS once; FM/IM trained requires ATLS ACLS PALS

Experience: Strong emergency medicine experience required

Other Qualifications: Epic proficiency preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical care in a rural ED setting

Manage all presenting ED patients across all acuity levels

Participate in all required onboarding activities

Perform required emergency medicine procedures

Collaborate with hospital teams for transfers and care coordination
