Job Summary
Institute For Digital Molecular Analytics & Science (IDMxS) is a unique interdisciplinary Research Centre of Excellence (RCE) funded by National Research Foundation Ministry of Education (Singapore) Nanyang Technological University and National University of Singapore. Hosted by NTU IDMxS is focused on development of core science to drive a paradigm shift in molecular detection and analysis to link the biomolecular world of life with the networked world of technology.
Key Responsibilities
Lead research projects in collaboration.
Evaluate the potency and pharmacokinetics of COE antibiotics in animal models of bacterial infections.
Conduct in vivo experiments using rodent models.
Study fundamental aspects of microbiology within BSL-2 or BSL-3 environments.
Collaborate within a large interdisciplinary team and contribute to joint research efforts.
Utilize state-of-the-art core facilities to support experimental work.
Analyze and interpret data and contribute to scientific publications and reports.
Requirements
PhD in Biological or Biomedical Sciences with relevant expertise.
Minimum 1 year of experience in bacteriology or infectious diseases (BSL-2 or BSL-3).
Experience in vivo work (rodents) is essential.
Strong expertise in tissue culture bacteriology molecular biology and animal work.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic research environment with access to state-of-the-art core facilities.
