Position Summary

A healthcare facility in the Syracuse NY area is seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join their team for a 13-week assignment. This role involves performing a full range of vascular ultrasound studies in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will be reliable flexible with start times and comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities

Perform vascular ultrasound exams including arterial venous and Doppler studies.
Manage a mixed inpatient and outpatient caseload efficiently and independently.
Operate ultrasound equipment safely and accurately while following facility protocols.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare staff to support diagnostic needs.
Complete documentation accurately and promptly in accordance with clinical standards.
Participate in weekend holiday and on-call rotations as required.
Maintain a high level of patient care safety and professionalism.

Requirements

ARDMS RVT or ARRT (VS) certification preferred.
Proven experience performing vascular ultrasound studies (arterial venous Dopplers).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility with varying start times (between 10 AM11 AM).
Willingness to work 812-hour shifts plus occasional weekends holidays and call.
Hospital experience preferred.
