About the role
We are seeking experienced Truck Drivers to work collaboratively to deliver high-quality environmental solutions and results at Pembroke Resources autonomous project in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex.
Pembroke Resources Olive Downs Complex project located 40 kilometres South-East of Moranbah commenced mining operations in mid-2023. Thiess was awarded a five-year contract to deliver full-service mining operations including mine planning overburden removal drill and blast load and haul water management and rehabilitation as well as the construction of the mine infrastructure.

Working 7 days on 7 days off day/night roster and reporting to the Mining Superintendent your duties will include:
- Operating machinery efficiently safely and competently to ensure maximum output
- Complying with Thiess policies and procedures
- Operate drive and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads
- Minimising dilution and achieving design parameters within acceptable tolerances
- Maintain stockpiles dumps and haul roads to ensure flow in a safe and efficient manner

- Carrying out pre-start checks
About you
As the successful applicant youll be a high-achieving team-focused individual who enjoys delivering results in a dynamic environment. Your exceptional relationship-building skills coupled with your ability to engage and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders will also ensure your success in this role.
- At least 12-month mining experience as mining production operator
- Equivalent to or specific experience operating Caterpillar 785 (C/D) dump trucks is essential
- Experience in hard rock mining operation desirable
- HR drivers licence
