JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the HR Manager of HR Operations the HR Operations Coordinator plays a key role in delivering back-office HR services to clients and beneficiaries in a respectful manner that complies with employment regulations and IRC policies. The successful HR Operations Coordinator will follow established processes and demonstrate strong critical thinking and organizational skills along with data literacy and a keen eye for detail. While the ability to work independently is essential many responsibilities also require communication and collaboration within a team environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Manager and other HR professionals who will offer support mentorship and regular feedback.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities of the HR Operations Coordinator include:
- HR Operations & Service Delivery: Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of HR services including but not limited to HRIS and employee data management offboarding benefits and pension administration long service awards record keeping employee letters and file management.
- HR Service Integration: Collaborate with all members of the HR team to ensure the smooth delivery of HR services to the business.
- Continuous Improvement & Process: Follow all HR operations processes and procedures to ensure compliance with employment regulations and IRC policies. Participate in continuous improvement efforts or corporate HR initiatives as needed.
- Data Metrics & Reporting: Provide data support for HR reporting including monitoring and maintaining KPI dashboards and other HR reports that evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and processes for continuous improvement.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Follow all quality standards for HR Operations processes ensuring all deliverables consistently meet or exceed organizational expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 Diploma required. Post-secondary education in HR management is an asset.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the areas of HR or office administration
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Co-Pilot to synthesize and analyze data interpret trends and present findings to managers to support decision making.
- Experience working in Indigenous or Northern communities is an asset.
