We are currently looking for a Project Manager to support substation and line projects as well as construction support services in the electric utility industry. The position requires a strong interest in power systems and electric utilities.

WHAT WINNING LOOKS LIKE:

Independently manage projects from initiation to closeout ensuring delivery on schedule budget and quality.
Develop project plans schedules budgets and resource allocations.
Serve as primary client contact coordinating with stakeholders vendors and internal teams.
Track project progress risks and issues; implement corrective actions as needed.
Prepare and review project documentation reports and deliverables.
Mentor Assistant Project Managers and project support staff on tools standards and best practices.
Contribute to process improvements and technical initiatives.
Continue preparing for advanced certifications and leadership roles.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in engineering engineering management construction management business or equivalent is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 4 years experience as Project Manager in the electric utility sector required.
PMP/CAPM preferred or in progress.
Proficiency with project workflow and scheduling.
Demonstrated experience with project management tools and processes.
Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization in a team environment.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 10%
Valid drivers license required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain the reporting and working relationships
Software experience: MS Office & MS Project
