Z On the Go and Transforming Convenience Retail is one of our strategic pillars and we are excited to welcome a Mātanga Ara Tukutuku Hokomaha Category Supply Chain Specialist to our Retail Category team in this newly created role.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of shaping the future of our store supply chain. Reporting to the Core Convenience Manager you will lead our forecasting and demand planning partnering with manufacturers and distributors to drive commercial outcomes.

This role can be based in either Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland or Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.

You will have the opportunity to

• Collaborate with Category Managers to align forecasts risks and opportunities ensuring accurate monthly Demand Review and support with reporting and planning activities
• Support supply chain administration and supplier income reporting as well as regular and ad hoc reporting requests
• Work with our suppliers to manage partnerships and stock quality and accuracy this also includes leading reviews on performance
• Own our ordering systems and ensure forecasting and planning is completed
• Support Z sites with any delivery or invoicing queries
• Support launches by working with Category Managers on promotional activity and manufacturers to ensure stock availability
• Produce category communications both internally and externally

Qualifications :

What youll bring to Z

• Experience within the FMCG industry ideally in a support analytical or project-based role
• Excellent administration and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with forecasting techniques
• Demonstrated experience managing reports promotional planning forecasting and analysis
• Great communication skills as this role will see you share and gather information with a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills particularly working with Excel spreadsheets
• A passion for convenience retail a pro-active mindset and the energy to work in a fast paced and changing landscape!

The base salary range for this role is $110000 to $120000 per annum plus 15% STI based on company performance a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
