Masters degree Canvas LMS expertise in course development or administrator roles Investigating and disseminating information on best practices for technology integration sources of information on trends research and applications related to technology use in the colleges EDT and Canvas programs Knowledge and extensive use of various LTIs integrated into the Canvas LMS Training teachers in the use of current technology to meet curriculum goals Training teachers in computer competencies to effectively use Canvas LMS Current knowledge regarding legal educational policies regarding FERPA Developing modules and activities that help integrate technology into various curriculum areas Current knowledge of technology and instructional practices that relate to the use of Canvas Knowledge and experience with the CVC - OEI course design rubric
Minimum Qualifications
1. Possession of any Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience in Educational Technology. OR 2. Possession of any Associate Degree from an accredited college and six (6) years of experience in Educational Technology. OR 3. May submit a fully satisfied lifetime California Community College Instructor Credential authorizing service to teach courses in Educational Technology. (California credentials were no longer issued after July 1 1990). OR 4. The equivalent qualifications. (Candidates who claim equivalency must provide conclusive evidence as clear and reliable on the college transcripts as required on the District Equivalency Application Form. Refer to the Equivalency Procedures below. This is not a process to waive the minimum qualifications.) AND 5. Applicant must have demonstrated cultural competency sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic cultural disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college staff faculty and students.
