Job Summary
To meet delegated legal objectives such as case planning development and management legal research drafting and analysing legal documents. Utilise technical knowledge to make recommendations to legal team members.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Laws Degree
- Admitted Legal Practitioner in the High Court of Namibia
Additional Information :
Experience:
- 2 years post admission legal advisory experience at a law firm corporate or financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address internal client needs by providing basic to intermediate technical legal advice to Legal Teams within the Bank or Product Areas and external legal representatives.
- Build and develop relationships across the different internal legal teams and with various stakeholders so that the business unit remains involved and aware of internal developments.
- Consult with internal clients to understand business requirements and provide sound legal advice pertaining to the drafting vetting review dissemination and/or negotiation of standard legal documentation and processes providing clear and accurate legal opinions based on sound judgment.
- Develop and manage relationships with identified external stakeholders relevant to the business and external regulatory bodies so that pertinent business networks and connections may be relied upon.
- Respond to business requests and appreciate client centricity through effective efficient execution of transactions utilising technology.
