Patrick Spencer MP is seeking to appoint a Constituency Assistantto join his busy and dedicated small team.
Based in the Central Suffolk and North Ipswich constituency office you will play a key frontline role in supporting Patricks work.
You will be supporting Partick by managing emails telephone calls letters mail merge tasks and initiating and supporting diary coordination.
Knowledge of the constituency area including key government community and support organisations is beneficial as is a genuine interest in the issues affecting Central Suffolk and North Ipswich.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in administrative work and to contributing meaningfully to public service. It may particularly suit a recent graduate or someone seeking to build upon their skills or simply someone seeking a new administrative position.
Your responsibilities
There may be a requirement for the role holder to work outside of the normal working office hours and travel for work within the constituency will be expected. Probationary period 6 months with an interim review at 3 months.
