As a Senior Backend Engineer you will design optimize and scale the systems that handle complex data ingestion event-driven workflows and enterprise integrations. This role blends backend engineering with a focus on system architecture and cloud technologies.

What Youll Work On:
Create and maintain core components including microservices and APIs.
Develop robust solutions for high-volume and diverse data sources.
Manage context and optimize for complex workflows involving AI features.
Leverage services like RDS and SQS to enhance system performance and reliability.
Ensure code quality and system observability through rigorous testing practices.
Work closely with AI engineers and other backend developers to integrate AI services into the platform.
Focus on system stability and maintainability while managing operational costs.


Your Background:

• 7 years of professional software development experience particularly in backend systems.
• Expert proficiency in Python; experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks is highly valued.
• Familiarity with AWS managed services and building resilient cloud systems.
• Strong background in working with SQL databases (Postgres) and data processing techniques.
• Proven ability to design high-availability systems with a focus on architectural integrity.
• Understanding of designing systems that effectively handle asynchronous processes.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Docker:
• Knowledge of Search Systems
• Understanding of Observability Practices
