This opportunity is with a privately owned well-established urgent care group serving communities throughout the greater New Haven region. The organization operates multiple modern clinics that provide high-quality convenient walk-in care for patients of all ages.
Clinics are fully equipped with on-site X-ray labs and procedure capabilities supported by experienced medical assistants radiology staff and a dedicated administrative team. Providers benefit from a collaborative environment and efficient workflows that allow for high-quality patient care.
The group is seeking multiple Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physician Assistants to join its urgent care team across several New Havenarea clinics.
Providers rotate between local urgent care centers all located within approximately 35 minutes of one another. Shifts are predictable and structured and providers may work independently or alongside another PA NP or supervising physician depending on the day.
Candidates must have at least one year of post-training PA clinical experience in urgent care emergency medicine family medicine or another acute care setting.

Provide urgent care evaluation and treatment for patients of all ages
Perform standard urgent care procedures including:
Suturing
Splinting
Incision & drainage
Basic orthopedic procedures
Conduct workers compensation evaluations and employment physicals
Utilize Experity EMR for documentation and order entry
Rotate across multiple local urgent care clinics in the New Haven region
Collaborate with physicians NPs PAs radiology staff and MAs
Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
Maintain clinical documentation and adhere to organizational protocols
Clinics open 7 days/week 8:00 AM 8:00 PM
Full-time schedule: 7 twelve-hour shifts every two weeks
Must be able to work four weekend shifts per month
Must be DOT certified or willing to obtain certification after hiring
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible PA
Active Connecticut PA license (or eligibility to obtain)
DOT certification (or willingness to acquire post-hire)
Minimum 1 year of post-training experience required
Experience in urgent care emergency medicine primary care or similar settings preferred
Strong procedural skills (suturing splinting I&D etc.)
Excellent clinical decision-making abilities
Ability to work independently and in collaborative settings
Strong communication and patient counseling skills
