Job Duties
ï Participate in A3 problem-solving to identify and reduce top quality defects.
ï Develop and lead testing and validation of new products materials and processes.
ï Support new product introduction through method development and trial execution.
ï Conduct time studies line layout optimization and motion analysis to improve throughput and
efficiency.
ï Perform ergonomic assessments and recommend workstation improvements.
ï Contribute to automation and reliability improvements.
ï Use CAD tools to support design and documentation tasks.
ï Engage in hands-on work on the manufacturing floor including basic tool use troubleshooting
equipment and working with operators.
ï Additional assignments to be determined
Qualifications
o Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Industrial or Manufacturing
Engineering / Engineering Technology.
o Strong interest in hands-on manufacturing and process improvement.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Familiarity with CAD software (preferably SolidWorks).
o Basic understanding of engineering principles and problem-solving methodologies.
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
o Excellent communication and organizational skills.
o Comfortable working on the shop floor and using basic hand tools.
o Good written and verbal communication skills
o Strong critical thinking skills
o Preferred Qualifications:
o Experience with A3 six sigma or other structured problem-solving techniques.
o Exposure to ergonomics time studies or industrial engineering practices.
o Knowledge of automation systems or electrical schematics.
