Corporate Quality Director

TheCorporate Quality Directordirects and improves the quality assurance program and ensures quality problems are identified and resolved within all business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the business units.
• Develop implement communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring quality systems and policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
• Establishing standards of service for customers or clients.
• Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.
• Supervising technical staff in carrying out corporate quality functions
• Writing technical and management systems reports.
• Manage and maintain the Companys quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components processes and finished goods.
• Empowered to stop the process or production or service provision if quality including safety requirements are not met.
• Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals objectives policies procedures and systems pertaining to the QA/QC.
• Functions as management representative for ISO 9000 and AS9100 or delegates responsibility
• Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
• Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers and comparing them with customer requirements.
• Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
• Liaising with customers auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers specifications.
• Preparing clear internal and external explanatory documents when necessary.
• Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.
• Participate in developing and improving our product process equipment and methods.
• Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
• Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.
• Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
• Support compliance with government standards and legislation.
• Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Five to sevenyears progressively more responsible experience
• A professional level of knowledge in a specialized field equivalent to that ordinarily acquired by completing a four-year baccalaureate program.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
