The Key account Management team is responsible for accelerating sales growth expanding selection on the platform and improving retention among the existing Seller base. This team creates innovative ways to identify new selection merchandising and operational improvement opportunities through partnership with internal stakeholders such as Fulfillment by Amazon Sponsored Products etc. and improving our overall knowledge of how to succeed as a Seller on Amazon Marketplaces.
We are looking for a Account Manager to help shape the future of the Account Management program. The role is focused on driving success for some of the high performing sellers in the KSA Marketplace and leveraging key learning/feedback to improve the Amazon platform that will benefit all Sellers.
Key job responsibilities
Business Strategy and Planning:
- Lead deep dive analyses to uncover insights on seller performance and identify scalable opportunities to drive revenue growth and improve customer experience.
- Define the strategic direction for assigned territories including growth targets input/output goals and performance benchmarks.
- Develop and execute business plans to address key performance drivers leveraging data to influence stakeholders.
- Assess territory health identify risks and opportunities and implement long-term strategies that maximize marketplace impact.
- Enable the adoption of account management best practices to enhance operational efficiency and seller success.
Seller Acquisition and Enablement:
- Build and execute acquisition strategies to identify prospect and recruit high-potential sellers through data-driven targeting and outreach.
- Manage a high-quality pipeline of sellers balancing short-term acquisition goals with long-term growth potential.
- Partner with new sellers to accelerate their launch ensuring they adopt Amazons tools systems and performance standards effectively.
- Educate and influence sellers on Amazons high expectations for delivery quality and customer experience to ensure sustainable success.
Seller Growth and Relationship Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor to sellers leveraging analytics market insights and business acumen to drive portfolio growth and operational excellence.
- Use category expertise to identify trends emerging brands and seasonal opportunities that inform seller strategies and product selection.
- Drive business reviews and performance discussions to align on strategic priorities and action plans.
- Track analyze and communicate business development results identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
A day in the life
Day to Day operation include but are not limited to
1. Interacting with Key Sellers
2. Sourcing new selection from sellers with potential to add more selection
3. Staying laser focused on stocks for Key ASINs
4. Sourcing Deals from sellers to delight our customers
5. Maintaining sharp prices on the platform
- Bachelors degree or MBA in management business administration economics engineering marketing
- 5 years of sales or account management experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.)
- Experience and track record of exceeding sales goals
- Experience communicating complex business concepts in verbal and written form
- Experience in business development partner development sales or alliances management
- Speak write and read fluently in Arabic
- Speak write and read fluently in English
- Experience within e-commerce or Retail fields
- Experience working with data and leveraging analytics to make decisions
- Experience within FMCG sector
- Experience within Beauty sector
