Responsibilities

Assist physicians and healthcare teams during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
Manage patient preparation including IV insertion monitoring and post-procedure recovery.
Administer and monitor conscious sedation per established protocols.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with safety quality and regulatory standards.
Provide patient education and ensure continuity of care throughout the procedure.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum2 years of Critical Carenursing experience.
Proficient inIV insertion and phlebotomy.
Previous experience withconscious sedation.
Demonstrated ability toscrub and circulatein a Cardiac Cath Lab environment.

Education & Certifications

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN)from an accredited institution (required).
Active New York State RN License(Primary Source Verification from NYSED).
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications(required).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Additional certifications inCardiac Cath LaborCritical Care Nursing.
