Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Float Pool)
Location: Falmouth MA 02540
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours/week 7:00 AM 7:00 PM Every Other Weekend Rotating Holidays
Pay Rate: $55 $60 per hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetryfor an exciting job in Falmouth MA.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
Ability to perform own phlebotomy and IV starts
Travel nursing experience preferred
Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts
BLS certification required
Completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient-centered care using the nursing process
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
Provide thorough patient and family education
Document care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Administer medications safely and in accordance with organizational protocols
Manage patients requiring cardiac monitoring IV therapy chest drainage devices and epidural analgesia
Identify and report signs of neglect or abuse per legal requirements
Deliver compassionate care to terminally ill patients and provide pain management
Utilize effective time management and adhere to best practice standards
Care for patients across age groups including adolescents adults and geriatric patients
Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent clinical situations
Support postoperative and orthopedic patient care needs
Perform job duties in alignment with department policies customer service expectations and regulatory requirements
