Job Summary
A thriving Good-rated school in Bedford is seeking a committed and imaginative Design & Technology Teacher to join their successful department this January. This is an excellent role for a teacher who values collaboration creativity and delivering practical learning that builds real-world skills.
About the Role
You will teach DT across KS3KS4 contributing to a department that embraces modern and traditional design processes. The curriculum encourages students to explore design thinking model-making CAD/CAM and technical drawing as well as practical workshop skills that support the GCSE DT specification.
Workshop facilities include:
Fully serviced wood/metal workshops
Electronic systems stations
CAD labs
3D printers and laser cutters
The successful candidate will also be involved in supporting students with coursework leading enrichment clubs and encouraging students to take pride in producing high-quality finished products.

Experience & Qualifications
DT degree or related qualification
QTS / PGCE
Creative mindset with strong organisational skills
Ability to teach across DT disciplines at KS3KS4
Salary
