Graduate Trainee Site Manager
Role Overview
The Graduate Trainee Site Manager will support the delivery of high-voltage electrical distribution projects ensuring compliance with safety quality and technical standards. This role provides hands-on experience in site management project coordination and technical operations within the power distribution sector.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Manager in planning organizing and supervising site activities for HV electrical distribution projects.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations at all times.
- Support the coordination of subcontractors suppliers and internal teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Monitor site progress prepare reports and escalate issues promptly.
- Learn and apply technical knowledge of HV systems including switchgear transformers and cable installations.
- Participate in site inspections testing and commissioning activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for project handover.
Skills and Experience:
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Other: Full UK driving license (or equivalent) willingness to travel and work on-site.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering Power Systems Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical distribution networks and HV equipment.
