As an ECT in PE you will contribute to both practical and theoretical PE teaching across KS3 and KS4. You will be part of an experienced team who will guide mentor and support your development throughout your induction years.
Your responsibilities include:
Delivering PE lessons in a range of sports and physical disciplines
Teaching theory content at GCSE/BTEC level as required
Supporting clubs teams and extra-curricular sports activities
Leading warm-ups drills and skill-building sessions
Encouraging teamwork resilience and a healthy lifestyle
Assessing student progress and maintaining clear records
Engaging fully in the schools structured ECT programme
Contributing to sports days fixtures and competitive events
