Are you a reflective academically curious Early Career Teacher with a strong interest in human behaviour cognition and mental processes A successful secondary school and sixth form in Bournemouth is looking for a committed ECT in Psychology to join their well-established Social Sciences department from September.
As an ECT specialising in Psychology you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons at KS4 and KS5 helping students develop analytical thinking research skills and a deeper understanding of psychological theories.
Your responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Psychology lessons
Supporting students with extended writing and exam technique
Using assessment data to identify areas for improvement
Contributing to departmental schemes of work and assessments
Leading or assisting with Psychology enrichment (discussion groups guest speakers projects)
Supporting Year 12 and Year 13 learners with exam preparation
Actively participating in the ECT programme and subject mentoring
Building strong professional relationships with students
