About the Role
As a Music Teacher you will be responsible for:

Teaching Music across KS3KS5
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop theory performance and listening skills
Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level exams
Leading or supporting ensembles choirs and co-curricular music activities
Directing or assisting with concerts productions and special events
Encouraging a culture of performance and artistic expression
Contributing to departmental planning curriculum development and resource creation
Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards and inspire a love of music

The school welcomes applicants with strengths in performance composition or musical direction.

Experience and Qualifications
Degree in Music or a related field
PGCE with QTS (or equivalent)
Strong musical performance or composition background
Experience teaching Music across secondary key stages
Ability to inspire students and contribute enthusiastically to co-curricular life
Excellent communication organisation and classroom skills
