About the Role

As a Patent Attorney you will play a central role in protecting cutting-edge inventions and guiding clients through complex IP challenges. You will:

• Work with national and international clients in software electronics telecom and AI.
• Draft prosecute and manage diverse patent portfolios.
• Advise inventors R&D leaders in-house counsel and commercial teams.
• Help clients protect manage and expand their intellectual property.
• Collaborate within a matrix team structure alongside attorneys at different levels of qualification.
• Share your knowledge across the team and support the development of trainees.

Your work will cover a broad range of high-tech innovations offering variety complexity and continuous learning.

What You Bring:

You bring both technical and legal strength to the table.

You have:

• A completed Masters or PhD in physics electronics mathematics or a related field.
• A strong interest in telecom software and artificial intelligence.
• The willingness to deepen your expertise and expand into new specialisms.

You also demonstrate:

• Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand commercial IP issues.
• Confidence initiative and the ambition to build relationships and develop new business.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trusted internal and client relationships.
• Independence of thought and a proactive approach to your work.
• Fluency in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus.
