About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter with strong expertise in headhunting and mid to senior-level hiring across the IT and Maritime industries. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in managing end-to-end recruitment talent mapping stakeholder collaboration and delivering high-quality talent in fast-paced evolving environments.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Headhunting
- Lead and manage the full recruitment life cycle for mid to senior leadership roles across IT or Maritime domains.
- Conduct deep market research talent mapping and proactive headhunting to target passive candidates.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for critical and niche positions.
- Use advanced search techniques (Boolean social recruiting networking) to identify top talent.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with hiring managers business heads and HR leadership to understand role requirements and workforce planning needs.
- Act as a recruitment advisor by providing market insights hiring trends and competitive intelligence.
- Manage expectations ensure alignment and deliver timely updates throughout the hiring process.
Candidate Management
- Conduct detailed candidate assessments behavioural interviews and competency-based evaluations.
- Ensure exceptional candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with high-potential executives and specialists.
Process & Reporting
- Drive process improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency and quality.
- Ensure accurate documentation compliance and reporting of recruitment activities.
- Track metrics such as lead time sourcing effectiveness and quality of hire.
Employer Branding & Networking
- Represent the company at industry forums job fairs and networking events.
- Strengthen the company’s positioning as an employer of choice in the IT and Maritime sectors.
- Develop relationships with external agencies consultants and professional communities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 12–15 years of hands-on recruitment experience with strong focus on headhunting senior hiring and niche talent acquisition.
- Experience recruiting for IT Maritime or technology-driven marine solutions (preferred).
- Strong understanding of job roles across engineering product operations maritime technical management and commercial shipping.
- Demonstrated capability in assessing senior-level candidates.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage high-volume and complex hiring mandates.
- Proven success in working with leadership teams and managing stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms LinkedIn Recruiter and modern sourcing tools.
