About the Role
Our client a national FMCG Food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead all engineering and maintenance functions at the factory. This role ensures machine reliability preventive maintenance project execution and continuous improvement across the plant. We are looking for someone with strong technical capability leadership discipline and deep exposure to FMCG Food or Pharmaceutical (GMP) environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage preventive predictive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensure high machine uptime reliability and availability for production needs.
• Oversee electrical mechanical and utility systems across the factory.
• Plan and execute engineering improvement projects upgrades and automation initiatives.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment issues.
• Manage engineering budgets spare parts and cost control.
• Strengthen engineering discipline safety standards and compliance with GMP & HSE.
• Build and develop engineering teams to support operational excellence.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Industrial Technology or related fields.
• 7–10 years’ experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Leader in FMCG Food or Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of machine maintenance utilities PLC/automation and engineering systems.
• Experienced in managing engineers and technicians (mechanical electrical utilities).
• Strong discipline leadership presence and hands-on approach.
• Familiar with Lean TPM 5S or continuous improvement programs.
• Willing to be based full-time in Bandung.
