Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures
- Prepare and organize dental instruments and materials
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of dental equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Manage patient records and appointment scheduling
- Ensure a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for patients
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry-level experience in a dental or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
- Certification in dental assisting is a plus but not required
