Job Summary
Responsibilities
- To operate the waste reception equipments and S&R Plant in safe smooth and efficient manner.
- To assist the Shift Leader (S&R Plant) in fulfilling his roles and responsibilities.
- To comply with safe working procedure and Permit-To-Work system.
- To be responsible for achieving the plant operation targets.
- To coordinate with other Operation Sections and Maintenance Section in matters related to S&R Plant O&M activities.
- To supervise the operations of solid waste reception and S&R Plant
- To maintain good work culture and discipline during shift duty.
- To monitor and control processes and recording of operation activities and experiences.
- To conduct routine checks on plant system and equipments
- To carry out front line maintenance
- To carry out isolation and normalization of equipments for maintenance.
- To trouble-shoot study process and equipment fault.
- To carry out all field operation works and supervise the general workers/sorters.
- To ensure general workers/sorters practice personal hygiene
- To ensure proper house-keeping and cleanliness of S&R plant
- To assist the Shift Leader in preparation of operation reports and documentation.
- To assist the Shift Leader (S&R Plant) in attending to plant emergencies.
- Any other duty as assigned by Shift Leader (S&R Plant).
Requirements
Qualification/Experience
- Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Min. 2 years of relevant working experience in the operation and maintenance of Material Recycling Facilities (MRF) plant or similar industrial plant.
- Able to work on rotating shift
- Able to work in solid waste processing environment.
- Team-oriented self driven meticulous
