Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance repairs and servicing of hand tools power tools and mechanical equipment.
- Support lifting operations and assist in rigging activities during barge loading and offloading procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify the integrity and functionality of tools and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues promptly and implement timely corrective actions.
- Strictly follow safety procedures and uphold company maintenance standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient and uninterrupted equipment operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in equipment maintenance and repair within industrial or marine environments.
- Proven knowledge and experience in lifting operations and handling rigging tools used in barge loading and offloading.
- Proficient in operating and maintaining the following tools and equipment:
- Drilling & Grinding Machines
- Jig & Band Saws
- Hilti Tools
- Torque Wrenches
- Bolt Tensioning Tools
- Other mechanical and electrical tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
- Ability to read interpret and follow safety guidelines maintenance manuals and technical instructions.
