Job Summary
Position: Terminal Operator
Role Overview
The Terminal Operator will be responsible for executing and monitoring day-to-day terminal operations related to the receipt storage and transfer of petroleum products. The role requires hands-on equipment operation adherence to safety and environmental protocols and coordination with multiple internal teams to ensure seamless operations. The job demands technical understanding physical stamina and strict compliance with operational standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Operate and supervise terminal equipment for receiving storing and dispatching petroleum products.
Monitor loading and unloading operations ensuring safety and efficiency.
Conduct routine inspections of pumps tanks valves and pipelines; identify and report abnormalities.
Maintain accurate operational records logs and compliance documentation.
Ensure adherence to safety environmental and quality regulations.
Coordinate with control room logistics and maintenance teams for uninterrupted operations.
Participate in emergency drills safety practices and housekeeping activities.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical Chemical or Industrial Engineering (or related fields).
Experience: 13 years in oil storage terminals refineries or related industries preferred.
Age Limit: Up to 28 years
Gender: Male
Language: English (B1B2 level good spoken & written communication).
Computer Literacy: Basic (emails browser MS Office).
Additional Advantage: Previous experience as an operator in oil storage/refinery terminals.
