What youll bring

Bachelors (or higher) degree in Comput-er Science Computer Engineering or other related fields or equivalent experience.

10 years proven experience in Guidewire Application Development

Must work on Guidewire BC Configuration

Nice to have Guidewire PC Configuration Knowledge

Expertise in GOSU Language configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators Guidewire Batch and Guidewire predefined plugins

Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products

Agile software development including the use of Git Bitbuck-et Jenkins Jira Confluence etc.

Domain knowledge on Property Casualty Insurance

Guidewire Cloud Certification is a must.

Experience Required:

7 years of Guidewire development experience.

7 years of experience coding RESTful APIs.

7 years of experience with coding in multiple programming languages such as C Java Python etc.

7 years of experience with rela-tional databases and SQL

MS SQL Server Transact SQL proficiency preferred.

Expertise in the end-to-end design and development of business database applications.

Experi-ence creating modern web applications and designing Web APIs with RESTJSON.

In-depth understanding of design thinking and customer-centric development.

Required Skills:

Hands-on working experience architecting Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions including customization and integration. Guidewire certification is a technologies of interest: Guidewire Cloud Salesforce CRM legacy modernization and AWS. Proven knowledge & architecture experience in architecture (digital / digital marketing / micro / macro / monolithic services APIs) application integration service-oriented architecture event-driven architecture application architecture distributed architecture data architecture and experience with modelling languages & techniques. Can quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies. Can understand the long-term (big picture) and short-term perspectives of situations. Strong technical background (platforms languages protocols frameworks open source etc.).Experience with architecture frameworks (TOGAF) & architecture certifications a in engaging and supporting claims teams and understanding their day-to-day operations in the P&C insurance space.
