Job Description
THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSITION

As a Rigging and Crane Supervisor you will:
Coordinate and assign rig and crane operator schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all projects and tasks.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations conducting regular inspections of equipment and work sites to identify and address potential hazards.
Oversee transportation logistics including coordinating the movement of trucks and cranes to and from job sites and ensuring timely delivery of equipment.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to plan and execute crane operations in alignment with project timelines and objectives.
Coordinate maintenance and repairs of cranes ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and serviced to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of crane operations including scheduling maintenance and safety inspections and prepare reports as needed.
Allocate personnel and resources to efficiently support all contracts (including shift work) and work items.
Oversee and monitor schedule performance including review of ongoing and upcoming projects investigation of late activities project supervision and the development of practical solutions.
Monitor and evaluate project budget performance including review of ongoing and upcoming projects development of productivity enhancements and investigation of over-budget items.
Monitor productivity across shift including the amount and type of work assigned as well as the quality and quantity of work accomplished.
Perform personnel related functions including but not limited to the supervision of employees performance management workforce reductions promotions demotions and discipline.
Ensure that employees understand and adhere to Company policies.
Train and motivate employees in the areas of technical knowledge safety environmental and communication.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Education Experience & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent degree and at least 5 years experience.
Proven experience in rigging and crane operations and logistics management.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to rigging and crane operations.
Ability to read and comprehend NAVSEA standard work items.
Demonstrated ability to plan schedule supervise and direct the work of other employees in the relevant trade or industry.
Ability to use discretion and judgment in making operations and personnel decisions.
Proficient computer skills required including experience with Microsoft Office programs and similar software.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to obtain DBIDS to access Military Base.


Preferred Education Experience & Skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Ship Repair Experience
Rigging and Crane Train the Trainer Certifications


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to: business considerations local market conditions and internal equity as well as candidate qualifications such as skills education and experience.
