Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated student for a Purchasing Internship position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in critical learning experiences and contribute to essential purchasing functions.
The intern will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and processing incoming Purchase Requisitions (PRs) with meticulous attention to detail
- Conducting comprehensive Best Price Calls to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness
- Implementing and maintaining a rigorous tracking system for pending PRs and POs
- Executing precise invoice clearing procedures
- Performing accurate Master Data Maintenance to ensure data integrity
- Providing crucial administrative support and assisting buyers with strategic sourcing initiatives
- Applying structured problem-solving methodologies and implementing sustainable solutions to enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications :
We are seeking a qualified candidate for our Purchasing Internship position. The ideal applicant should possess the following qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to purchasing or supply chain management
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement sustainable solutions
- Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Fluency in both English and French
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
