Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical or Associate Director to join our growing consultancy practice and provide strategic leadership across a diverse portfolio of transportation infrastructure projects. This is a senior leadership role responsible for programme management technical oversight resource planning and client engagement at the highest level.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the strategic development of our transportation business ensuring the successful delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects while mentoring teams and strengthening our client relationships.

You will be involved in business planning resource optimisation risk management and the development of integrated sustainable transport solutions across the public transport and active travel sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Engineer with 15 years experience seeking to take a step into a business-critical leadership role within a progressive and dynamic consultancy environment.

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) with Engineers Ireland or equivalent internationally recognised body.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the design and delivery of transport infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience in the planning design and delivery of large-scale complex infrastructure projects across all project phases.
  • Proven ability to manage project portfolios and programmes with excellent commercial and contractual awareness.
  • Strong track record in stakeholder engagement client management and collaborative delivery.
  • Broad technical knowledge of transport infrastructure including roads public transport and active travel.
  • Familiarity with Irish design standards and guidelines including TII Publications DMURS NTA PAGs and the Cycle Design Manual.
  • Experience successfully delivering projects working with Local Authorities and the NTA
  • Highly effective communicator with strong leadership and influencing skills.

Qualifications :
