The University of Maryland School of Nursing (UMSON) at University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB) is seeking a non-tenure track Assistant Professor for the Institute for Educators.The Institute resides within the Partnerships Professional Education and Practice (PPEP) Department which includes six academic units which focus on educational missions vital to the school. The Institute for Educators offers a 12-credit graduate teaching certificate provides individual and group faculty development and partners with stakeholders within and outside of the school and across the state to drive faculty excellence in teaching scholarship and service at this nationally ranked school of nursing.

The candidates will work primarily in the Institute of Educators located at University of Maryland Baltimore.
The Institute for Educators faculty candidate will have academic and professional experience in nursing or another health-related field and will uphold and advance the UMB and UMSON core values. They will contribute to student and faculty success in the following ways.
UMSON enrolls more than 2000students in its baccalaureate masters and doctoral programs. UMSON is part of the University of Maryland Baltimore professional campus that also includes the schools of dentistry medicine law pharmacy and social work as well as the Graduate School and is one of the fastest growing biomedical research centers in the nation.
