Senior Color Matcher / R&D Color Specialist

Responsible for instrument and visual color matching using a spectrophotometer adjusting pigment loadings to achieve target Lab* values ensuring gloss/dispersion consistency developing lab and production recipes preparing customer samples and resolving color-related complaints.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform precise instrument & visual color matching using a spectrophotometer
Adjust pigments/loadings to achieve target Lab* values
Ensure proper dispersion gloss consistency & shade stability
Develop lab and production-level formulations/recipes
Prepare customer samples and technical data sheets
Investigate color complaints & implement corrective actions
Work closely with the Lab In-Charge and Production teams

Qualifications:
Minimum Intermediate; diploma/certification in Color Technology or Polymer Lab preferred
5-10 years of experience in color development/matching in Plastic Masterbatch
Relevant industry experience in masterbatch plastics pigments or additives

Skills Needed:
Strong knowledge of pigments dyes & additives
Expertise in spectrophotometers and color measurement systems
Ability to match and correct shades efficiently
Understanding of polymer processing & lab testing
Attention to detail with strong analytical ability
