About the Role
Provides leadership and liaison amongst key stakeholders to support the university student retention goals. This will include driving improvements project management and analysis of key data sets to make informed recommendations to strengthen student success.
This role also leads the development and oversight of how UOW measures and reports student equity performance across the university. You will ensure UOW meets federal requirements under the Accord Support for Students Policy and the implementation of Needs-Based Funding model while providing strong insights that guide decision-making and improve equity-focused services.
Key Responsibilities
- University wide coordination of retention and at-risk student approach.
- Collaborate with data teams and VP Operations to support robust data capability and government reporting.
- Oversee key operations including equity scholarships and at-risk student monitoring systems.
- Develop a model to support university-wide evaluation to establish the effectiveness of student-facing programs and services.
- Monitor and analyse student equity performance against federal and institutional benchmarks.
- Represent UOW in national student equity networks and sector policy discussions.
- Provide team leadership and uphold UOW values policies and WHS responsibilities.
