Job Summary
We are looking for Senior Buyer/Specialist
Pnr: 22844
Job Description:
- Follow-up of complex procurement packages
- Develop and implement procurement strategies with a strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation.
- onduct market screening and maintain excellent market knowledge to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions.
- Prepare inquiry documents for major equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering.
- Perform commercial evaluations of quotations.
- Issue purchase orders and contracts
- Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe cost and quality.
- Manage professional variation handling.
- Handle risks deviations and invoice processing.
- Ensure all activities comply with clients guidelines work instructions and procedures.
- Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs enhance delivery quality and strengthen collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree
- Relevant subjects: Supply Chain Logistics Engineering and similar
- Minimum 5-7 years experience within supply chain management
- You are commercially aware.
- You are professional and an independent team player.
- You have strong oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
- You are flexible and willing to adapt to changes.
- You engage positively with others and demonstrate a high degree of collaboration skills.
- You work in a structured and efficient manner always in accordance with applicable guidelines.
- Experience with SAP is an advantage.
- A high degree of data discipline is preferred.
