Cover Mobile Maintenance Engineer
Location: London
Working hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Salary: Upto 45000
Position Overview
As the Cover Foot Mobile Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of sites in London ensuring to all building plant equipment and systems are maintained in a safe efficient and functional order.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete building services tasks including knowledge and user management of the following: BMS monitoring/management emergency lighting repairs fire alarm systems pumps FCUs (service and repairs) AHUs and all other HVAC plant
- Take ownership of remedials quoted works and small projects works when required
- Water Treatment to have knowledge and understanding of ACOP L8 and carry out water treatment tasks
- Ensure all reactive repairs are undertaken safely and within appropriate time scales
- Raising any hazards that arise on sites from reporting to rectification
- Support with investigation and rectification of any technical faults
- Liaise and support in the supervision of our sub-contractors
Skills & Experiences
- Qualified to City & Guilds Level III or equivalent in Electrical discipline OR City & Guilds Level III or equivalent in Mechanical discipline
- Completed 18th Edition I.E.E (essential) or mechanical equivalent
- Completed City & Guilds BS 2391 Level 3 Electrical Inspection & Testing (desirable) or mechanical equivalent
- IOSH Working Safely (desirable)
- PASMA and IPAF 1b/3a/3b (desirable)
- Good knowledge and clear understanding of Electricity at Work safe working practises and Memorandum of Guidance on the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 (essential) or mechanical equivalent
- Completed unvented hot water systems training (desirable)
- Knowledge of and experience in BMS / Generator / Controls / Lighting Systems / Plumping / Sanitary Wear / Drainage Systems / Low Pressure Hot Water Systems / Pressurisation Systems / Ventilation Systems / ACOPS L8 and Cooling Tower Systems (desirable)
- Knowledge and experience combined with valid Certificate on High Voltage systems (desirable)
- Experience of maintenance testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment Including: - boiler plant ventilation pumps generators switchgear cables - Batteries small power and lighting (where applicable)
