Malander is seeking an experienced and strategic Group Reporting Manager currently based in the UK to oversee the full finance function across both the UK and South African operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified CA(SA) or ACCA professional with strong technical and leadership abilities to play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end finance function including financial reporting budgeting forecasting and compliance.
- Provide strategic financial insight and business partnering support to the CFO and executive team.
- Oversee and review monthly management accounts financial statements and consolidated reports.
- Ensure compliance with UK and South African financial regulations and group policies.
- Oversee cash flow management balance sheet integrity and working capital optimisation.
- Lead and mentor finance team members across regions ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all reporting processes.
- Support and drive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) initiatives including financial due diligence and integration processes.
- Liaise with auditors tax advisors and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Contribute to financial strategy process improvement and system optimisation initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified CA(SA) or ACCA essential.
- Minimum 3 years post-articles experience in a financial management or senior accounting role.
- SAP and HFM experience is essential.
- Proven experience managing a full finance function across multiple entities or regions.
- Mergers and acquisitions experience highly advantageous.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and group consolidations.
- Excellent analytical communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage cross-border financial operations (UK & SA).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
