We are looking for a Social Media Manager to execute and manage social media campaigns.
This role involves executing and adapting on site campaigns on social media creating culturally relevant content engaging with the local community and driving brand awareness and sales through effective social media strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Saudi culture social media trends and consumer behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Execution & Management:
Plan execute and manage social media campaigns across major platforms (Instagram Snapchat TikTok) with a focus on the Saudi market.
Align social media initiatives with local cultural events holidays (e.g. Ramadan Saudi National Day Eid) and consumer behaviors.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns reflect the objectives seasonal promotions and product launches.
Content Creation & Localization:
Create and localize content that resonates with the Saudi audience including the tone of voice and culturally relevant visuals.
Work with graphic designers and content creators to develop engaging multimedia content (images videos stories reels).
Ensure content aligns with Saudi values and traditions while reflecting modern consumer preferences.
Community Engagement & Customer Interaction:
Respond to customer comments inquiries and messages in a timely and professional manner.
Foster a strong online community by encouraging user-generated content engagement and initiating interactive content like arguable topics Q&A and giveaways.
Monitor and address customer feedback with concerned teams to improve brand perception and customer satisfaction.
Market Research & Trend Analysis:
Stay updated on emerging social media trends
Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and ensure our brand stays ahead in the local e-commerce market.
Track and report on consumer behavior shifts platform usage patterns and emerging digital trends specific to the Saudi community.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Analyze and report on key performance metrics (engagement rate impressions views) for all content on social media.
Use insights from data analytics to optimize campaigns and maximize performance.
Provide weekly and monthly reports detailing social media channels success challenges and opportunities for improvement.
Partnerships & Influencers :
Repost and address content from our influencers and content creators to amplify brand reach and credibility.
Support in partnership activations with full social media coverage strategy.
Leverage influencer organic content during major shopping seasons.
7. Event Planning & Execution (Quarterly):
Plan and execute an event every quarter to engage the community and promote brand awareness through immersive impactful experiences. This could include influencer meetups brand activations or online events tied to key moments of the Quarter.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or a related field.
5 years experience in social media marketing preferably within an e-commerce environment.
Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian culture consumer preferences.
Strong understanding of social media channels Instagram TiKToK and Snapchat X
Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple social media campaigns simultaneously.
