As a Senior Manager Security and Surveillance at Pfizer Sanford you will play a crucial role in enhancing the security and surveillance measures that directly impact the safety and well-being of our patients. Your work will contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that protect our assets and ensure the integrity of our operations ultimately improving patients lives.
What You Will Achieve
Develop and implement comprehensive security and surveillance strategies to protect Pfizers human capital and intellectual assets
Oversee daily security operations ensuring compliance with regulations and standards including Pfizers Minimum Security Requirements and Site Information Protection Plan
Manage the operation of the Physical Access Control System (PACS) Video Surveillance System and Key Management System serving as the Subject Matter Expert on all three systems. Coordinate and manage system upgrades including performing all activities related to computer systems and updating the PACS certification as required
Serve as liaison to the local law enforcement agencies state and federal agencies including FDA FFA DOT and Department of Homeland Security. Works closely with EHS to ensure the site complies with the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Act
Conduct risk assessments and create mitigation plans for potential security threats. Lead activities for Global Security Physical Risk Mitigation Assessments. Develop action plans to remediate observations and provide timely updates to Global Security
Manage the Emergency Response and Crisis Management function Business Continuity Management and the site contingent worker program. Serve as the Site Crisis Management Coordinator and manage all site-wide incident and emergency the Site Threat Risk Assessment Security Plan Crisis Management Plan and Emergency Response Plan for the site
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into business processes
Manage security incidents lead investigations and prevent future occurrences
Set objectives and manage high-complexity projects. Maintain the Site Security Plan. Participate on the Site Master Plan team and prepare / present the annual capital budget for projects to enhance the security profile at the site
Lead people technology and financial resources including those outside direct authority
Share knowledge across functions and contribute to knowledge management processes
Champion innovation develop resources for innovative ideas and take appropriate risks
Develop solutions to complex problems and interpret strategy to establish business priorities
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
BA/BS with at least 6 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 5 years of experience or PhD/JD with at least 1 year of experience or MD/DVM with any years of experience
Extensive experience in security and surveillance management
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively
Excellent project management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in security technologies and systems
Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Advanced degree in a related field
Certification in security management (e g CPP PSP)
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
Knowledge of global security trends and best practices
Experience with crisis management and emergency response planning
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong decision-making and strategic thinking abilities
Proven track record of managing direct reports fostering a positive and productive work environment

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Some standing ladder climbing bending pushing and lifting (up to 40 lbs.) may be required on a daily when incumbent is supporting work in the field. Other job functions require working in an office setting where sitting and computer usage would be the norm.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Work is primarily first shift Monday through Friday but schedule flexibility is required i.e. ability to participate in occasional off-shift meeting/training and project planning meetings.
