The Opportunity
The Technology Resiliency Engineer - Mid Level helps to ensure the organizations critical technology services and infrastructure are resilient recoverable and compliant with regulatory expectations including those outlined in the FFIEC Business Continuity Management guidance. This role requires an understanding of cloud architectures and the ability to evaluate and assess resilience patterns and controls across cloud workloads. This engineer partners with platform teams developers and resilience architects to proactively mitigate risks improve failover readiness and ensure compliance with ERG standards. This role leads Association-wide efforts to embed resiliency into technology operations and business resiliency strategies with a focus on proactive risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
Responsible for creating modifying maintaining and supporting infrastructure and individual and integrated system components and solutions that enable business functions and IT Services. Balance availability security efficiency and functional requirements to help provide an optimized production service. Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and ensure these risks are effectively identified and escalated to be measured monitored and controlled.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to bein the office 4 days per week.This position can be based in one of the following locations: Charlotte NC San Antonio TX Plano TX or Phoenix AZ.

Compensation range:The salary range for this position is: $93770-$179240.
Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
