Job Summary:
The Sr. Research & Development Analyst is a senior level position responsible for leading complex research projects and initiatives. This role involves conducting advanced analyses of research data performing in-depth data analysis and developing strategies to improve research outcomes. The Sr. Analyst works closely with cross functional teams to identify and resolve research issues implement corrective and preventive actions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally this role involves mentoring and training junior staff and providing technical expertise to support continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:

Conducting Research and Analysis:
Identifying research topics and objectives
Gathering and analyzing data from various sources
Conducting market and competitive analyses
Identifying trends and insights
Presenting findings to stakeholders

Developing New Products and Processes:
Brainstorming and evaluating new product ideas
Creating project plans and timelines
Collaborating with design and engineering teams
Conducting feasibility studies and cost analyses
Overseeing product testing and refinement

Collaborating with Cross Functional Teams:
Communicating with stakeholders and team members
Coordinating efforts with marketing and sales teams
Providing support and guidance to junior analysts
Ensuring cross functional alignment and collaboration
Facilitating problem-solving and decision-making

Managing Project Timelines and Budgets:
Creating project timelines and milestones
Tracking progress and identifying potential risks
Implementing budget controls and cost saving measures
Communicating updates and changes to stakeholders
Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget

Generating Reports and Presentations:
Compiling and analyzing data for reports
Creating visually appealing presentations
Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Incorporating feedback and revisions as needed
Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in Science Engineering or a related field with at least 4 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories principles and concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Proficiency in research tools and software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop and implement research strategies and plans.
Experience in conducting experimental design and statistical analysis.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
